Aluminum-filled nylon with metallic aesthetics and improved stiffness.
PA12 Alumide blends polyamide 12 powder with fine aluminum particles, producing parts with a distinctive metallic grey appearance, improved stiffness over unfilled PA12, and excellent machinability for post-processing. Electrical conductivity is low. The aluminum filler also increases thermal conductivity slightly, making it useful for heat-sink-adjacent structural brackets.
