AlSi10Mg — Aluminium Alloy
Lightweight aluminium alloy for aerospace brackets, heat sinks, and manifolds.
AlSi10Mg is the most widely used SLM aluminium alloy, offering an excellent strength-to-weight ratio, good thermal conductivity, and weldability. It is the metal additive manufacturing equivalent of A360 casting alloy. Parts are typically solution-annealed post-print to relieve residual stress and homogenise the microstructure. Applications include lightweight structural brackets, conformal cooling inserts, and fluid manifolds where complex internal channels are required.
