Industrial 3D Measurement& CT Inspection Services
Dimensional inspection, internal structure analysis, and ISO-compliant measurement reporting. Not scanning for visualisation — measuring for engineering certainty.
What is Industrial 3D Metrology?
Industrial 3D metrology is the science of high-precision dimensional measurement using optical, laser, and X-ray CT systems to capture the exact geometry of manufactured parts and generate certified inspection reports. Unlike visualisation scanning, metrology-grade measurement produces traceable dimensional data referenced against a nominal CAD model — with every measurement evaluated against defined tolerances and reported with uncertainty.
At ZenCore 3D, all measurements are conducted in a temperature-controlled laboratory environment and reported using GOM Inspect Pro software to ISO 8015 and ISO 2768 standards, with full part traceability documentation for industrial, automotive, and aerospace client requirements.

Measurement Equipment
Three complementary measurement systems cover the full range of industrial inspection requirements — from sub-micron CT to large-volume on-site scanning.
TomoScope XS Plus
Werth Messtechnik
The TomoScope XS Plus delivers industrial computed tomography at voxel resolutions down to 3 µm. It captures the full internal geometry of parts without cutting or destruction — ideal for validating complex injection-moulded components, castings, and additive manufacturing parts where internal defects cannot be assessed by surface methods alone.

Best Use Cases
Industrial Inspection Workflow
A rigorous 7-stage process from part receipt to signed inspection report — every step documented for full audit traceability.
Part Preparation
Cleaning, fixture design, and reference point application. Temperature stabilisation to ±0.5 °C in our ISO-controlled lab environment.
System Calibration
Certified calibration artefact measurement per VDI/VDE 2634 or manufacturer protocol. Calibration certificate archived per job.
Data Acquisition
Multi-position scanning with automated position transformation. Full coverage verified by live quality indicators before job completion.
Alignment to CAD
Best-fit or datum-based alignment to nominal CAD model using GOM Inspect Pro. RMS residual below 0.01 mm is standard.
Deviation Analysis
Full-field colour deviation maps generated. Surface comparison, section analysis, and feature extraction performed in GOM software.
Tolerance Evaluation
GD&T evaluation per ISO 8015, ISO 2768, and part-specific drawing. All features evaluated against nominal with pass/fail status.
Inspection Report
GOM-generated PDF report with full traceability: part ID, system serial, calibration reference, measurement date, and signatory.
Inspection Report Structure
Every measurement job at ZenCore 3D is delivered with a structured inspection report generated using GOM Inspect Pro. Reports contain full part traceability metadata, nominal vs. actual comparisons for every evaluated feature, and a pass/fail evaluation against the specified ISO tolerance class.
