PA11 — Bio-Based Nylon 11
Ductile bio-based nylon with superior impact and flexibility.
PA11 is a bio-sourced polyamide derived from castor oil. Compared to PA12, it offers higher elongation at break, improved impact resistance, and better performance in dynamic loading environments. It is the preferred choice for parts that must survive repeated drop or impact events, flexible clips, and snap-fits with large deflections. PA11 is also more resistant to hydrolysis and UV degradation than PA12.
