PA12-GF — Glass Filled Nylon
Glass-reinforced SLS nylon for maximum stiffness and thermal stability.
PA12-GF incorporates 30% short glass fibers into the PA12 matrix, dramatically increasing stiffness (tensile modulus ~3000 MPa), improving HDT to 175 °C, and reducing creep under sustained loads. The tradeoff is reduced ductility and a rougher surface finish. Ideal wherever standard PA12 deflects too much or distorts at elevated temperatures.
